Digital Media Lab Offers New Spaces

The Digital Media Lab, located on the 3rd floor of  Clemons Library, now offers new Audio/Video Studio spaces and an expanded media creation environment.  Over the past several years the DML has been converting spaces for advanced media production, including:

  • Two sound booths designed for both vocal and musical recording with live mixing and multi-channel recording capabilities.  Each booth is equipped with professional condenser microphones.
  • MIDI music composition system
  • 5.1 surround sound audio/video editing
  • Fully equipped video studio with high definition camera, teleprompter, panel-controlled lighting, live PA system, multiple audio inputs with wired lavalier microphones, and an interchangeable backdrop system.

The DML invites you to visit them in Clemons Library and experience how they are expanding the ways you can create and produce media for your academic and scholarly endeavors.

Adobe Design Achievement Awards

The 2010 Adobe Design Achievement Awards give higher education students from around the world the shortcut to brilliance to propel their careers in the future.  Enter in 12 categories in 3 media areas endorsed by industry.  Cash prizes will be awarded during Adobe MAX 2010 in Los Angeles.
Submissions close June 4, 2010.
